Frequently asked questions
Does rotating lose quality?+
Rotating by 90, 180 or 270 degrees is lossless. A fine angle re-samples the image slightly, but the change is minimal at normal sizes.
Why are there white corners after a fine rotation?+
When you rotate by an angle that isn't a multiple of 90, the canvas grows and the new corners are empty. PNG and WebP keep them transparent; JPEG fills them white.
